Traditions I want to keep with my daughter

My childhood when I was younger was kind of all over the place. For as long as I could remember, it was just my mom and I until I was six years old. My biological father was never really in the picture. He would call me from time to time and write me letters and whenever I got one, my mom would read them to me but he never went to a birthday party of mine, never put food on my plate, never provided for me. It was my mother who did everything for me. She was the light of my life and as much as I wanted a relationship with my dad, he was constantly focusing on himself and was always in and out of trouble.

As I got older, my mom and I started going on trips 1-2 times a year up north and stayed right on the California coastline in a hotel across the street from the ocean. We would stay two nights and spend the weekend going down main street to do some antique shopping. It was a lot of fun and it was something I looked forward to doing every year.Another tradition of ours was going to Disneyland once a year around Halloween time. My mom would order a coffee the second she got there from one of the stands and always bought a Halloween mug to go along with it. She collected them every time we went.

Baby Rushing 22 weeks!

Hey guys! I know its been awhile since I last posted but I took a month off to focus on myself and my new marriage. August was a rough month for me but I am back now after a much needed break and look forward to posting every week again. I hope everyone is doing good.

A few things happened since I last update. I got married to the love of my life and father of my child, we had a gender reveal party with our close friends/family and we even started organizing the nursery (which still needs to be painted and is nowhere near finished.)
