Our Babymoon Adventure

This past week, my love & I packed our bags and headed on our baby moon adventure. Our last trip together before our daughter arrives in early January. Early in the morning we headed out to Santa Cruz! The original surf town. This was our second time visiting this beautiful beach town together but my 3rd time since 2016. I originally came to Santa Cruz because of my love for the film The Lost Boys. I wanted to see where it was all filmed and where certain scenes took place. I wasn't disappointed.

Like last time, we didn't stay in a hotel but instead we booked the same airbnb that we used the first time we came to SC together. Our little cottage was just as perfect as the first time with an outdoor cast iron tub, private patio, small kitchen, little breakfast table, bathroom and bed. It was nice and open with so many beautiful views.

I enjoyed Many warm baths while at the cottage for 5 days. It seemed like every night I just wanted to soak in the tub for half an hour. It was beyond relaxing especially when you're 26 weeks pregnant. While up north I stopped by a little shop in town and bought a bathing milk linked here. It left my skin so soft and smelled amazing. I definitely recommend it to you babes out there. My husband loved it as well!

Crazy, silly, funny, amazing, sweet Husband of mine being a little too adventurous on those rocks!

A romantic dinner for two (really 3) at a hole in the wall restaurant in SC.
Our trip was absolutely incredible and I was so happy and excited to spend it with my husband and our growing baby girl in my tummy. We never got to go on our honeymoon when we got married which was a bummer but at least we got a little babymoon, just the two of us. We are beyond excited to take our daughter to Santa Cruz when she's older so she can play in the ocean, run around on the boardwalk, go on rides and be our little explorer.
Thank you to my husband for always making our road trips a lot of fun. I love you endlessly!

  6. What a beautiful, idyllic spot. I am very envious of that bath tub (only having a shower). I just love the term babymoon and have never heard it before. Wishing you both lots of happiness - you certainly know how to be romantic.
